Kindling: starting a journey with destination unknown.
Last year it occurred to me that something was needed at Brain Tree that would honor and preserve cultural tradition, before the western world and academia pushed it to such a far distance that it would be hard to remember. I suggested to the Head of School at Brain Tree that we reserve a small area in the library for all things 'African'. What happened after that conversation surprised even me.

Best of luck for a sucessful opening of the center. Your vision and hard work will have ripple effects that will never end. The giving will keep on giving long after the those who gave have forgotten.
